PERSONAL INFORMATION I am a current student at Bath Spa University studying Education Studies and Sociology. My ambitions are to become a primary school teacher after completing my degree as I have had a passion for the profession since I attended secondary school. I am enthusiastic and have a drive to succeed in all things I start. I feel I am easily motivated and take a sensible and professional approach to work. I am versatile and feel that I adapt to new and challenging situations quickly. In my spare time I enjoy swimming and going to the gym to stay fit and healthy. I also like going out and doing things with my friends. Reading and cooking are also things I enjoy doing in my spare time.

WORK HISTORY

House Of Fraser (April 2007- August 2008) Worked as a sales assistant in a womens clothes department This job involved me having to interact with customers and provide advice and information about the different clothing and items available. It also meant that I had to be punctual, able to operate a till and work alongside others as part of a team. Super Camps (April 2009 August 2009) Working as an activity instructor at a childrens holiday camp. Involving working closely with children to ensure they are safe and have a good experience throughout their day. Leading small groups of children in activities and managing timetabled tasks throughout the day. ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE & INFORMATION As part of my Course at Bath Spa University, I attended a six week placement in a primary school. This experience helped me gain an insight into how teaching is delivered and gave me a first hand look at the every day stresses and successes that come with primary education. It was a rewarding experience because, not only did I receive a very pleasing, positive feedback report from the school but also for my own personal benefit. I had contributed to the childrens learning and had learnt some valuable lessons about classroom behaviour that I will be able to use in the future. I have an up to date CRB disclosure.
