LINk is the independent health and adult social care watchdog for the city. Welcome to Peoples day


Community groups across the city have come together to make this Brighton & Hoves biggest Peoples day ever. Peoples day aims to bring the citys many communities together and is a celebration of the wide range of skills and traditions they bring to Brighton & Hove. There are more than 50 activities for you to try from archaeology and food tastings to visiting a Romany caravan, drop-in yoga and Zumba dancing, so there really is something for everyone. We would like to thank everyone who has worked with us to pull the day together and to our sponsors Brighton & Hove Local Involvement Network and BohoGreen, creators of PortZED. Peoples day is a great chance for you to find out more about the citys communities and try something different. We hope you enjoy the day and learn something new. Take advantage of this Peoples day special offer offered by the Theatre Royal. The Theatre Royal is offering backstage tours to give you the chance to see behind the curtain of our beautiful 204 year old theatre. The tours start at 10.30am, 10.45am, 11.00am and 11.15am, last approximately 30 minutes and your ticket price will include a complimentary refreshment and discount voucher for use on your next theatre booking. Tickets are 5. Places are limited and should be booked in person at the Box Office on New Road. Owing to the historic nature of the building we regret that some areas are inaccessible by wheelchair or those with limited mobility.
