Seventh Sunday of Easter
Catholic families seek eternal life by knowing and teaching what Jesus tell us: “ Now this is eternal life,
that they should know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.” Remember to
pray, and to talk about God, Jesus, faith and eternal life often so children learn the ways and language of
faith.

365 Holy Hours kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. The Blessed Sacrament is a
wonderful means given by Jesus to show the extreme of his love for us. He, seemingly, tells the Father,
that he is now ours, and not to take him from us until the end of the world. You do not have to be a
committed adorer to spend one hour with Our Lord. Just sign in at the desk for the hour that you are
there. Should you like more information on becoming an adorer, please contact Judy at
330-212-0926.

Congratulations to eight grader Angelina Caporini and seventh grader Margaret Morber! Both girls
participated in the state Power of the Pen tournament held at the College of Wooster on May 27.
Angelina received a ribbon for writing one of the fifteen best pieces at the regional competitions.
Margaret’s first place finish in the three rounds of regular writing earned her the opportunity to
compete in the final round of writing. Seven thousand students across Ohio competed in Power of the
Pen tournaments this year. Congratulations also to their teacher and coach, Mrs. Elizabeth Schaffstein,
whose wisdom and instruction have been invaluable to developing these outstanding writers.
