AED manufactures and markets engines in the form of base engines and portable/
conventional pump sets. The company holds a leadership position in the
petrol/kerosene pumpsets segment. The manufacturing facility is in Tamil Nadu
producing over 1, 00,000 engines annually.

AD, the largest division of the Company, manufactures single cylinder and twin cylinder
engines for small commercial vehicles (3 and 4 wheelers). The customers include Tata,
Mahindra, Piaggio and Scooters India. Over 80 % of diesel 3 wheelers in India are
powered by Greaves engines. With over 2 million Greaves engines in the market
powering small 3 and 4 wheeled commercial vehicles, Greaves Cotton commands a
formidable presence in the last-mile transportation business.
The division has four manufacturing facilities, located at Aurangabad, Maharashtra and
Ranipet, Tamil Nadu. It manufactures over 300,000 light diesel engines annually.

Greaves Cotton is one of the largest players in auxiliary power segment in 0.5 to 500
KVA range. The division manufactures Silent Gensets at Pune, Aurangabad and in Tamil
Nadu that are very well positioned in both the domestic and international markets.
Greaves gensets are widely used in Retail Outlets, Commercial complexes, Hotels,
Hospitals and Small and Medium enterprises

Greaves Cotton manufactures both Compaction and Concreting products and is a well
recognized brand in the Indian construction industry. The division has three
manufacturing facilities located at Gummidipoondi, Tamil Nadu.

IED markets a wide range of Greaves engines (1-700 HP) for applications in Marine,
Agricultural Equipment, Fire fighting pump sets, Mining & Construction, Material
Handling (Cranes, Forklifts), Rail Cars and Road Sweepers.
