By way of introduction, I have been a Dental Hygienist since graduating from th
e University of Vermont with an Associates Degree in Science. Along with contin uing my education at the college level, I have always participated in courses of fered in the field of Dental Hygiene and Dentistry. Work itself has been an edu cation allowing me to develop the philosophy that good oral health is created an d maintained through the partnership of patient and provider. Once oral hygiene instruction has been given and clarified, it is then the responsibility of the patient to follow through on their own daily care. Communication is the key. The field of Hygiene in the past ten years has grown and developed because of t he emphasis placed on the oral and total body health connection. This exciting development has allowed us to go beyond simple oral hygiene instruction. There is and always has been a connection and we as Dental professionals can guide the m to it. In closing, I will call to confirm the receipt of this letter and resume and wo uld appreciate the opportunity to meet with you and your staff. I can be reache d at my home, cell phone or email.
