**Researched and determined that a major factor of Windows Mobile (WM) products
slip is the quality of 3rd party applications. Therefore, developed and project
managed a new In ROM ISV program for WM for 3 years based on the following pilla
rs:
* Fixed WM OS 3rd party applications related bugs which improved the functionali
ty and the UX of 3rd party applications on WM products
* Managed 3rd party application bugs with vendors and provided development suppo
rt until bugs are fixed by the 3rd party vendors
* Examined device health of 3rd part applications with WM pre-release builds to
secure stability and performance
* Created applications dogfood program that enabled Microsoft WM employees to te
st the applications on WM pre-released builds to identify and fix application bu
gs during the development phase
* Led all business agreement negotiations with ISVs to secure proper engagements
The outcome of this initiative was to improve the stability and the quality of 3
rd party applications on WM, to minimize 3rd party application issues during mob
ile operators technical acceptance, and to ensure that products are shipped on t
ime.
