ERP CONSULTANT/BUSINESS ANALYST

Multi-tasking/multiple client, ERP Consultant whose strengths in Enterprise Reso
urce Planning (ERP) and Business Improvement Processes have helped my clients sa
ve (conservatively) $15,000,000+ over a 10 - 15 year period.
Major Strengths:
ERP Implementation/support Project Management Process Improvement
Problem Definition/Solution Operations Analysis
SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
ERP implementation
Led implementation or support of dozens of ERP systems. Not unusual to be invol
ved in 2 - 3 implementations and support concurrently.
After detailed analysis of company goals, current processes and business practic
es demonstrated requirements necessary to a successful implementation of Enterpr
ise software. Successful implementation would enable client to achieve decreased
costs, increased revenues, enhanced competitiveness and provide outstanding cus
tomer service.
Successfully managed implementation of ERP system AND transitioned to new/larger
computing systems at multiple locations for this three-year $30M project by usi
ng proactive resource management achieving buy-in at each department and continu
ous communication between project team and all employees.
Avoided $200,000+ of dollars in programming costs and months of delay by impleme
nting a process improvement process to circumvent the unique problem of multiple
finished products from a single original product that would be unaccounted for
in Off-the-shelf ERP systems.
Project Management
Successfully lead or participated in concurrent projects primarily directed to i
mplementation of ERP Software. Project durations were 1 - 3 years in length with
funding falling between $5M to $35M.
Projects were completed on time and within allotted budget. Primarily due to tig
ht management of critical resources, constant communication between team, manage
ment and users.
Process Improvement
Increased ROI from ERP, QM, BI systems investments by creating company specific
training courses that explained the "whys and wherefores" of new system AND impa
ct on company processes.
Clients obtained inventory accuracy levels of 98% or better; enabling them to re
duce manufacturing or shipment delays by 40-60%. A secondary benefit of this
improvement provided purchasing with more accurate and timely information when m
aking buy decisions.
Reduced work-in-process, for one client by $ 3,000,000+ over 4 years - resulting
in reduced purchase dollars expended before required - through application of C
apacity Requirements Planning and Material Requirements Planning. For other clie
nts savings were estimated in the millions.
