of perfluorinated membranes used in fuel cells"
*Thanked for "helping rebuild the homes and lives" of people who suffered from h
urricane Katrina in New Orleans

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
*Research Assistant University of Detroit Mercy 06/2008 to pres
ent
Researched the effects of counter ions and thermal treatment on the degradation
and stability properties of various perfluoropolymer membranes used in fuel cell
s. Determined that the classic 3M membrane is 33% more stable than the commonly
used Nafion(R) membrane, and the addition of 5% Ce(III) decreased membrane degra
dation by 43%. Daily spectrometers maintenance.
*Teaching Assistant University of Detroit Mercy 09/2008 - 04/2010
Prepared solutions and reagents for over 30 undergraduate students, instructed t
hem with the in-class experiments and kept the laboratories (general chemistry l
ab and physical chemistry lab) in safe condition for students.
*Intern Student Shanghai University Biology Information Research Center 03/
2004 - 06/2004
Constructed a database for the Human Liver Proteome Project (HLPP) project group
.
*Lab Assistant Open Computational Chemistry Lab of Shanghai University 06/20
02 - 07/2002
Programmed a database for the Guangzhou Waste Gas Emission Project I.
