Establish aggressive production schedule and clearly communicated production goa
ls to all staff. Identify, develop, and execute projects to eliminate plant bot
tlenecks to increase production and the efficiency of operations. Reduce ineffi
ciencies and modify procedures that are counterproductive to increasing plant ca
pacity.
Establish cleaning procedures, as well as startup and shut-down techniques, to a
void generation of off-specification product (typical for high temperature react
ion trains). Lead the effort to generate accurate documentation (P&ID developm
ent) of existing and modified installations. Develop standard operating procedu
res to ensure consistent operations.
* Increased daily production rate from 2,000 pound SBH per day in 2008 to an exc
ess of 4,000 pound per day at present. On target to achieve theoretical plant c
apacity of 6,500 pound SBH per day by 2012.
* Improved efficiency of operations and improved raw material yields from an ave
rage of 70% in 2008 to greater than 90% in 2010. On target to achieve greater t
hat 96% yields by end of 2010.
* Reduced staff turnover rate from > 50% in 2008 to 7% in 2010.
