Hardware Engineer - Xbox360 Product Engineering Team
In a newly-formed team within the organization, I helped pioneer end-to-end fai
lure investigation and analysis by developing technical debug processes and cons
istent data collection. I then helped scale the organization by leading a local
lab team and international support staff through this failure investigation pro
cess. With the data collected, I analyzed trends, proposed solutions, and summa
rized findings for upper-management reporting.
* Became the team's central contact person with software teams involved with pro
duct development and testing
* Modified manufacturing test suites to bring out intermittent issues and attemp
t to diagnose hardware behavior
* Developed and documented processes for investigating failures and providing ac
curate and precise results
* Investigated customer escalation cases to understand why customer experiences
were not up to standards after game system had been repaired
* Updated and wrote factory repair instructions based on new information learned
during failure investigation

2006 President, IBM EAGLE at Austin
I presided over the local chapter of an employee-run GLBT organization supported
by IBM. This great opportunity allowed me to further develop my leadership ski
lls as I guided the group through the following activities:
* Involvement in the 2006 Austin Pride parade and festival
* Volunteer activities with local GLBT groups
* Informal discussion including EAGLE members and the senior location executive
overseeing operations of IBM's Austin site
* Cross-company collaboration to bid for Austin to be chosen as the site for Out
and Equal's annual conference
