paper on finite state machine theory at a Forth conference. I have chaired panel
s at electronics industry meetings.
Community activities
Viet Nam veteran. US Army. Trained as a photographer and public information spec
ialist and morning-report clerk by Army. Worked as portrait photographer after d
ischarge. Served as a volunteer policeman for 12 years. Graduated from Massachus
etts Reserve Police Academy. Worked at a food bank and kitchen for the homeless.
Manned a rape-crisis hotline.
