Dear Hiring Manager,

Contributing to the success of clients and employers through expert
management of recruiting and employment activities has been a
cornerstone of my career to date. By capitalizing on extensive
experience and an innate ability to understand and deliver on vital
needs, I have helped to bring in highly qualified candidates and
build stronger organizations. I am now looking to bring my skills and
knowledge to work for your company in a new and challenging position.
My background includes development and presentation of highly
effective diversity education programs, which support goals and
ensure an inclusive and well-rounded environment. I have partnered
with executive-level leaders to drive progress and to manage and
resolve sensitive issues. I am confident that I can utilize all of
these assets to quickly become a valuable member of your team.
In addition to this strong professional history, I have a long and
honored history as a veteran of the United States Air Force. From
earning a Bronze Star for my service during the Tet Offensive to
teaching ROTC at the famed Tuskegee University, my military career
provided unparalleled experiences and opportunities. At the USAF
Academy, I was selected to establish and conduct the first Race
Relations Education program for Academy staff. Then, following my
retirement, in 2002 I received a 4-year White House appointment to
the Department of Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services
a" in this role, I conducted focus groups throughout the military,
with an emphasis on the treatment of women. I believe that my
background and accomplishments will help make me a valuable addition
to any organization.
For a detailed presentation of my career and achievements, please
review the enclosed resume and feel free to contact me at your
earliest convenience. Thank you for your consideration. I look
