6 years experience as rotor wing mechanic performing scheduled and
unscheduled maintenance/inspections ( UH-60 A/L).
2 years experience as Floor Supervisor
Proficient in the troubleshooting, removal, repair, and reinstallation of aircra
ft components, to include: T- 700/701C, Garret turbomach/Sundstrand APUs, transm
issions/rotor/gearboxes and avionics.
Knowledgeable with aircraft special tools, such as the Aircraft Vibration Analys
is kit, FITS, torque wrenches, check/fill units, nitrogen cart. tow bars, jacks
(and jacking procedures).
Used maintenance forms and records in accordance with all applicable aviation re
gulations.
Took part in multiple PMI 1/PMI 2 inspections (UH-60 A/L).
Assisted in post maintenance ground and flight operational checks.
Proficient in Aircraft rigging procedures.
MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Rebuilt and helped transport eight UH-60A Blackhawk Helicopters from Elmendorf A
ir Force base to Fort Wainwright Alaska, over a 48 hour period.
Promoted to the rank of Sergeant within four years of enlistment.
Participated in Arctic Care 2006 by crewing and maintaining a UH-60 helicopter i
n the Arctic
Circle to bring humanitarian aid to remote villages that are isolated from the r
est of the world.
Honorably discharged from Active Duty in July of 2008, then returned when called
from the
Inactive Ready Reserve in July of 2009 to serve in support of Operation Iraqi Fr
eedom.
