SCHOOL STUDENTS APPLY DURING SUMMER SCHOOL

Classes must have at least 12 enrolled students prior to June 25 otherwise; we reserve the right to cancel class with appropriate
refunds.
Students may only attend another summer school program at the discretion of Medford Public Schools Summer School
Director.
Students are responsible for obtaining his/her school’s permission to take courses for credit.
No days are excused for absences at summer school.
The director of Summer School must approve any absence.
Three absences automatically equal course failure.
Tardiness to class will not be tolerated.
Three late arrivals equal one absence.
Course times are at the discretion of the director and are subject to change if necessary.

I. Enrollment:
Classes are open to students who need to make-up one or more credits due to a failure. Students who wish to use this
program as a refresher for past study or as a preparation for future study may do so. Registration will take place
Wednesday, June 15th - Tuesday, June 21st from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Medford High School in the first floor Guidance
Office and the McGlynn Middle School.

III. Attendance and Refund Policy:


Students taking courses for academic credit may miss no more than 2 classes. Vacation days are not acceptable reasons
for absence. Three times tardy are equivalent to an absence.
There will be no refunds given after the first day of Summer School or in the event the student does not complete the
course due to absence. Course times are at the discretion of the director and are subject to change, if necessary.
Failure to make payment will be considered an audit and no credit for the course will be received.
