Supervised three Customer Support representatives in a 24/7 coverage environment
which consisted of 25 remote processing warehouses/offices and remote in home u

at Helpdesk issues were resolved in a timely manner.

Took a leadership role in enforcing Information Technology policy/security.

Responsibilities:
Converted to Rs/6000 UNIX/AIX environment using metals industry specific applica
tion (Stelplan) from MVS/CICS batch system environment. During transition, respo
nsible for removing all old computer equipment.
Responsible for transitioning computer operations staff to new environment and e
stablishing procedures.
Transferred from Tulsa, OK to Bensalem, PA to support the company, Edgcomb Metal
s, moving the Data Center from Tulsa to Bensalem.
Supported various system upgrades and architecture enhancements in the MVS envir
onment.
Supported conversion from MVS to UNIX environment.
Helped establish Helpdesk to handle/track user requests after converting to Stel
plan application system.
Helped support movement to Windows environment utilizing OSs from Windows 95 thr
ough XP.

1985 - 1996
Responsibilities:
Responsible for day to day computer operations in an MVS/XA environment utilizin
g IBM tape drives, communication controllers and DASD.
Supported batch job system using JCL and associated Procedure Libraries in a CIC
S system environment.

Responsibilities:
Hired as Report Processor.
Responsible for decollating reports and report distribution.
Promoted to Production Control.
Responsible for batch job setup, maintaining and following established procedure
s for running batch jobs on all three shifts.
Interacted with programming staff to resolve problems on off shifts.
Good knowledge of JCL, Proc libraries and TSO.
