I am an experienced Field Service Director; knowledgeable in the operation, trai
ning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hybrid locomotives, and the in
stallation and software programming for the RS Logix 5000 PLC control system. I
n addition, I have experience in troubleshooting and repairing CAT C9, Deutz, an
d Perkins diesel generators. Also, I have worked with Airplus and Atlas Copco a

I am accountable for warranty, non-warranty repairs and maintenance to a fleet o
f highly expensive hybrid locomotives in the Southeast and South Texas region. H
igh level training via classroom and hands on settings to the customer's electri
cal and mechanical technicians are provided along with extensive troubleshooting
practices and failure analysis. Any questions the customer may have are answer

South Texas Lead Field Service Engineer - 2007 to 2008

I performed maintenance and repair of all hybrid locomotives in the South Texas
region which includes Port Arthur, Beaumont, Houston, Freeport, and San Antonio.
I hired and trained field service technicians to manage the existing fleet of
hybrid locomotives, and diagnose any systemic failures within the fleet and dete
rmine the root cause of the failure. Once the failure was determined, a brief s
ummary along with corrective action eliminated future failures. Once the correct
ive action was approved by engineering, my team applied the field modifications
sent by the engineering team.
Field Service Engineer - 2005 to 2007
Railpower Hybrid Technologies Corporation, Houston, TX
I participated in commissioning a fleet of over 100 locomotives throughout Texas
. I identified and corrected voltage and fuel problems on our earliest fleet of
battery powered locomotive's gen-set packages. After a few months of testing,
a complete battery overhaul which consisted of inspecting the batteries for crac
ks, torque settings, pressure tests and complete desaturation of the batteries w
as completed by a workforce of contractors and sub-contractors. As project mana
ger, I was tasked in finding adequate labor to access chemical plants and perfor
m the work in a safe manner by following OSHA safety and federal railroad safety
standards and providing feedback to the customer about the project.

I was accountable for the preventative maintenance schedules of an array of elec
tronics, machines, and motors including but not limited to water evaporation mac
hines, boilers, gas turbines, generators, the ship's telephone system, closed ci
