Axiology the study of values and value based judgements. Telos (study of teleology) in Greek means
with the end in mind. So if we function from a stance that holds that all is on the way rather, than in
the way, it frees us up.

We need to focus on gratitude every day. Selected bias attention will allow us to either see
opportunity or lack.

When you’re met with a challenge you are given the chance to achieve. Successful people love
challenges as it allows you to expand your time space horizons.

Many of us get stuck when we begin to seek fulfilment from outside.

“Essay on Circles” Emerson. The soul is ever expanding. If your vision is as big as the family, that’s
what you will have. If your vision is as big as the community, you will transcend the family. To have a
global vision you would need an astronomical vision.

To achieve our mission we can’t subordinate ourselves to others and we must continue to grow. To
grow we need to identify our values. Time, space, energy, money, discipline, think, visualise, what do
you affirm to yourself, what do you aspire to and what are your goals. Must delegate lower priority
tasks to achieve goals. Mark Kay advice - write down 7 things per day that are action steps to
achieving your goal. Give yourself a reason to be thankful. This becomes a ritual.

Delegate anything that is not on your action step lists. When you love doing something, people want
more of it.

The events that happen are feedback for each area that can alternatively contain order.

Key is not to let outside influences interfere with our knowing otherwise you get uncertainty.

Superego arises from injected values resulting from subordination. The superego judges all impulses,
potential to become overly moral and subject to the influence of others values.

Everyone has a leadership trait within them in some function within society.

Perseverance – “if you do something for long enough, everybody else will just die off.”

Subordination causes chronic fatigue syndrome as you are constantly going against your natural self.
When congruent, the entire sympathetic and parasympathetic system revert back to give
vitality.

When you try and tell others to live outside their values and you don’t live your own, you will get
friction rather than fuel.

Mission – Your mission is your highest value. What are you going to lead. Most people don’t give
themselves permission and they don’t allow.

When you are congruent you will automatically find the most efficient and effective pathway to
achieving your goals.

The greater the perceived void, the greater the perceived value. If the greatest void for you is
money, you will pursue that. That simply is “what is”. It is not a moral issue.

When you see everyone as yourself you are congruent.

If you want to achieve something you will endure both pain and pleasure to seek its fulfilment.

“Love of Wisdom and the Wisdom of Love”

Philosophy gives a knowing that the power of love and wisdom is unlocked by gratitude. Gratitude
causes a phase locking the brain.

It makes sense to spend hours and hours in a day contemplating what you want to achieve rather
than focusing on the anxiety. You will find answers rather than become stuck.

Specialised Knowledge

You have a competitive advantage when you know something and you know it with certainty. When
you read you devour knowledge and the experience of people’s lives. You can extract your own
reflection of the message held in the words. If you work for a company you need to link the company
values to you. How does the company help you in achieving your highest mission?

If you don’t fill your life with a valuable career, people will fill it with low priorities for you.

Ability To Speak

An amateur practices speaking at the event, a master practices in between. Those with a mission
have a very clear message. You articulate smoothly when you are congruent and clear in mind. If
you have a 1hr speech, have 4hrs worth of material prepared.

Ability To Sell (Ability to CARE)

Selling is about finding out enough about the other person in order to be able to communicate to
fulfil through their values. How does them wanting it serve you?

 - Greet and introduce yourself – to sell is to ask questions. So you are and I am.. What are the
associations, highest values, how does it help you achieve your values, value them, can’t be
fake.
- Establish a rapport
- Establish a need – 3-5 minimum
- Referrals – Effective communication and caring will lead to referrals.

Saving Money

You need to save enough money to have a cushion. Make sure there is liquidity. Wealth means
wholeness and wellbeing. Not subordinate & fragment. Wealth also leads to longevity.

What you see in the world is what you have. Nothing is missing. So just need to own the traits that
you have.

Complete an entry in a gratitude journal every day.
