* Responsible for office and field operations for Asset Management company speci
alizing in assisting real estate agents and banks in the preservation and rehabi
litation of foreclosed or bank-owned properties; reporting directly to the presi
dent.
* Fostered new relationships with clients, attending and networking at various r
eal estate conventions in Georgia.
* Oversee the work flow for both the Preservation and Rehab divisions consisting
of a division manager for each and multiple crews consisting of 4-6 associates
each.
* Direct responsibility to insure timely and quality completion and delivery of
services along with proper pricing and billing along with accounts receivable ov
ersight.
Achievements:
* Fast-tracked personal education of this industry to be able to attract, train
and retain project managers.
* Developed a competitive price structure that not only gained the company an in
crease in assignment approvals, but was also geared to more efficient sub contra
ctor pay levels
* The programs installed in Q3 and Q4 of 2007, resulted in a YTD Fiscal '08 P&L
demonstrating a 27% sales increase to 1.83 million with a net profit improvement
of 34% (14.7% to 23%) after taxes.
Petsmart Inc. - May, 1989 to June, 2007
* Feb. 1994 to June 2007 - District Manager for the Atlanta Market. In June of 1
997, accepted an additional assignment to assist with merger activities with Pet
stuff (competition niche-retailer) to oversee the conversion of 47 existing loca
tions to the Petsmart format. This included stores from Massachusetts to Florid
a (entire Eastern seaboard) with primary focus on new personnel retention, train
ing and introduction to the Petsmart culture. This process was completed in Dec
ember 1997.
* February 1994 - Promoted to District Manager and relocated to Georgia to the n
ewly formed Atlanta Market which included a total of 13 stores in greater Atlant
a, South and North Carolina. This total eventually increased to 23 stores with
the addition of 10 new store openings.
* February 1991 - promoted to Market Coordinator with pre-opening and operationa
l responsibilities for six stores in the Denver area.
* Joined Petsmart as Store Director in Denver, Colorado to open the sixth retail
location that has since expanded to nearly 1150 stores.
Achievements:
* Member of the "Field Advisory Board" - quarterly meeting participation in Phoe
nix to develop efficiencies and approach to all facets of the business.
* Opened the first Pet Hotel (play and boarding) facility in Georgia.
* Opened and developed the first in-store Pet Grooming center for the Company.
