Responsible for Pre-Operational inspection of Daycare family, Group Daycare fami
ly, and School age child care facilities for the State Operations of the Bureau
of Daycare.

Pre-Operational inspections are done to decide maximum capacity through availabl
e space and how many assistants and associates are qualified and registered to t
he facility with the DOH and the Bureau of Daycare including the owner/provider
listed for the Daycare.
Buildings are inspected to assure their viability for the job at hand and to ass
ure they meet minimum qualification for each type of Daycare/childcare facilitie
s being dealt with.
Follow up inspections are performed to check on the quality of the daycare facil
ity, and to ensure the provider abides by all rules and regulations in order to
assure the childrenas safety.
Health consent forms for every enrolled child in a daycare are checked, the firs
t aid kits are checked, all safety equipments must be in working conditions incl
uding the smoke alarms and fire extinguishers.
Child Abuse complaints are followed up on and referrals/ and or recommendations
can be made to build proper nutritional menuas along with a constructive and pro
ductive daily agenda for the children to follow.
