CAREER ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Leadership
* Military: Appointed Noncommissoined Officer-In Charge (NCOIC) twice during mil
itary career. As NCOIC of Network Operations and Network Administration for Geil
enkirchen NATO Air Base in Germany, oversaw the overall administration, reliabil
ity, and security of all USAF-Europe owned communication systems equipment on ba
se to include the base's two million dollar joint-forces classified and non-clas
sified computer networks. Researched, budgeted, and purchased over six million i
n technology assets for 19 Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marine units on base using
GSA and BPA contracts. Saved base over one million dollars over a year period.
Managed USAF inventory of $36 million in technology assets across 136 accounts w
ith 100% accountability.
* Corporate: As Director of Information Technology, oversaw Acadia Management's
multimillion dollar 4Wall Entertainment and Accurate Courier and Warehousing org
anizations operating in four locations in three states.
* Education: As Community Technology Services Manager, oversaw technology operat
ions for the largest student community in EdisonLearning's organization which co
nsisted of 5,000+ users in six different school locations.
* Entrepreneurship: Created business from start-up and managed all aspects of bu
siness while leading staff of 12 employees to work as a cohesive team. Sold busi
ness to LV Dog Inc. in March 2010.
* Consulting: Assists in the overall planning, growth, and management of all asp

Technology Project Management
* Coordinated a multimillion dollar technology renovation project for two Edison
Learning schools. Projects entailed upgrading infrastructures to fiber optics an
d Extreme networks equipment. Projects improved the speed, quality, and reliabil
ity for over 2,000 customers and brought sites up to Clark County School Distric
t standards.
* Selected by EdisonLearning HQ to serve on a project team which planned, develo
ped, and implemented a companywide technology service database system (Infra). N
ew system helped organization track technology issues while improving customer s
ervice speed, reliability, and quality for over 120 school sites across 24 state
s.
* Migrated EdisonLearning's six Las Vegas school site networks from Microsoft Wi
ndows 2000 to Windows 2003 environments. Upgraded 2,500 network assets which dra
matically improved technology for 5,000+ customers.
* Led 4Wall's organization to adopt new primary business operations software (Re
ntal Works) to improve overall productivity. Two year project entailed extensive
research and coordination across all departments in three locations and require
d companywide employee training on the new Microsoft SQL based software. Projec
t drastically changed corporate culture while new system increased operations an
d employee efficiency by 20%.
* Assisted in the planning and creation of two Acadia office locations. Planned
and configured the Windows 2003 networks, NEC telephone systems, and security an
d surveillance systems from the ground up for both locations.
* Upgraded two of Acadia's existing office locations from Microsoft Windows 2000
to Windows 2003 network environments. Implemented 16 new servers, SonicWall fir
ewalls, and Extreme network switches for locations. Improved network speed and r
eliability while reducing unscheduled network downtime to less than .001%.
* Worked directly with NATO allies and oversaw $240,000 dollar base fiber projec
t for Geilenkirchen NATO Air base. Project increased bandwidth and increased sec
urity for base's classified and non-classified networks.
Network Security
* Held USAF additional duty positions such as Unit Computer Security Manager, Co
mmunications Security (COMSEC) Responsible Officer, STU-III Responsible Officer,
Fortezza Responsible Officer, and was a member of an Air Force Computer Emergen
cy Response Team. Held Top-Secret-SCI government security clearance.
* Created first ever Department of Defense Information Technology Security & Acc
reditation Processes (DITSCAP) package for Geilenkirchen NATO Air Base and compl
ied with over 70 USAFE security directives.
* Selected by EdisonLearning HQ to evaluate and test new enterprise anti-virus s
olution for organization. Piloted Sophos security software solution which improv
ed network security by 35% for 21 locations across the country.
Awards & Recognition
* Military: Selected by base commander for "Below-the-Zone" award and received e
arly promotion to Senior Airman. Achieved Staff Sergeant 14 months ahead of USAF
average. Awarded "Noncommissioned Officer (NCO) of the Quarter" for work accomp
lishments. Awarded five service medals & five service ribbons.
* Corporate: Awarded company performance shares by Acadia's CEO and President fo
r dedication and hard work.
