* Advised clients on overall loan market conditions as well as
specific industry and product trends, (particularly in terms of
structure and pricing for new financings, refinancing and
amendments).

bank counsel as well as for internal business sponsors, credit,
loan administration, loan structuring and loan portfolio
management for industries covered.
* Prepared applications and amendment requests for revolving lines

$10 billon in commitments for a portfolio of 100 borrowers
(primarily investment grade).

transaction structure and related operational issues.
* Negotiated loan documentation, in coordination with in-house
counsel, with clients, agent banks, and bank group counsel to meet

offset risk with credit default swaps.

coordinated the external submission of commitment letters,
consents, and closing documents.
* Reported, as needed, to loan portfolio management, credit, and
sponsors, on any material events at borrowers that would impact
the underlying loan or creditworthiness of the borrower.
* Represented UBS at lender meetings, client presentations, and
investor conferences.
* Created the template and summary guidelines for the preparation of
applications submitted to loan portfolio management for hedged
