ACHIEVEMENTS
I have contributed significantly in the integration of Union Bank, was part of t
he core team. I also headed the logistics for this large project and integrated
Admin systems of both banks. My efforts and contributions were recognised by the
senior management.
Effective cost reduction by strategising premises portfolio, as a result we were
able to release around 200 k of rental space and a saving of Rs 40 million was
achieved per year. Owned premises were fully capacitated.
I have introduced self managed Guest Houses in all major cities of Pakistan. Our
bank's travel budget has reduced by 28%.
Brain child the concept of services rationalisation where we have worked on qual
ity and quantity of vendors. This initiative has helped in improving services, q
uality of service staff and cost saves.
British Council offices were temporarily closed during the last 18 months. I pla
nned and relocated the office on three different locations within 18 months. All
three moves were completed in a short time. These moves required high level pla
nning, identifying and reacting to new ways of working, developing different sys
tems and maintaining security standards. I played a key role during this period
and have received outstanding rating for two consecutive years.
Successfully met the targets set for building the ICI Pakistan British Council M
anagement Centre. Supervised the project on the lines of providing architect wit
h advice on British Council procedure, procurement, financial upkeep and updates
, reporting to HQ, Sponsors and local management of the periodical progress. I a
m now the project manager of the new office building being constructed in the co
mpound of BDHC. This is a project worth GBP STG 950, six consultants are involve
d and is very complex in nature.
