Managed all aspects of camp to include recruiting and hiring staff, budgeting ex
penditures and recruiting campers. Performed routine maintenance at camp. Duri
ng the first year of my employment the camp was more profitable than it had been
since it was established in 1960.
Represented and spoke for the Commissioner at public hearings, political forums,
civic organization and homeowner association meetings. These appearances gave
our commission office an unprecedented reputation for service and understanding
of complex utility matters.
Traveled to Florida and worked for four months preparing corporation for move of
headquarters from Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. to Covington, La. This included all inve
ntories of spare parts as well as all administrative functions.
Acted as liaison between design engineers and corporate management on a major pl
ant expansion, supplying information regarding performance levels for equipment
and product flow for plant layout. This $ 5,000,000 project reduced manpower re
quirements and increased capacity by 40%.
Planned and directed conversion in production process and procedure which genera
ted savings of 20% in labor and 25% in production time.

First ever parish administrator with very broad responsibilities in overall mana
gement of the parish business in partnership with the pastor. Coordinated activ
ities with all of the volunteer parishioner organizations.
2007-2009 New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity
Camp Hope Director responsible for operation of the largest volunteer residentia
l facility in the Gulf Region. With a largely volunteer and rotating staff reno
vated and moved to a larger facility where an average of over 500 volunteers are
housed and fed each week.

General Manager of Popeye's Fried Chicken Mandeville, La. Location. Responsible
for all hiring, training, ordering and freshness of product as well as cash acc
ountability and profit margins.
2000-06 Abbey Youth Camp, Inc.
Camp Manager responsible for summer camp program as well as renti
ng camp during off-season for retreats, picnics, etc. Scheduling, booking group
s, maintenance, setting prices for facilities, purchasing and overall management
and profitability have all been my responsibility.
1997-99 Kamewa America, Inc.
Replacement Parts Manager responsible for purchase, sale, invoicing and collecti
on for all spares in marine propulsion industry leader's North and South America

Recruited personnel. Coordinated efforts of and responsible for production, pla
nning, operations, maintenance, scheduling, purchasing, quality control, shippin
g and receiving.

I also served in the United States Army from for 3 years. I attended Officer Ca
ndidate School and was commissioned in the Medical Service Corps. I served most
of my tour of duty as the Acting Chief of the Training Division at the Medical
Training Center at Ft. Sam Houston, a position normally requiring the rank of Lt
. Colonel. While in this position I was promoted to 1st Lt. and was offered pro
motion to Captain prior to my required service time ending.
