a portfolio of over 30 shopping centers in the six major Florida metropolitan ar
eas.
Manage budget and construction scheduling of the retail Interior Buildouts: Ini
tiate, contract, and coordinate all phases of retail Tenant Buildouts including:
selecting contractors, obtaining bids, negotiating contracts, scheduling, maint
aining compliance with contract documents, reviewing/approving all construction
related documents, monitoring QC/project costs, managing documentation of all si
gnificant project events, interacting with local governmental agencies, internal
and external Architects, Engineers, Consultants, General Contractors and Subcon
tractors to deliver project within established budget parameters. Monitor and m
anage overall client satisfaction. Attend job progress meetings as required.
Oversee the Tenant Coordinators in the development of all phases of design and c
onstruction. Coordinate and manage development of preliminary and construction
documents. Assist staff with decisions on value engineering alternatives and ot
her cost savings opportunities. Manage ongoing cost and estimate analysis repor
ting. Analyze department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions
can be made, and assist Leasing with budgets for prospective and current deals.
Proactively investigate opportunities for improvements in the project scope and
operational efficiency and economy. Obtain and evaluate pertinent data from va
rious departments and consultants including Operations, Legal, Design, Planning,
Engineering and Accounting. Provide data and updates to Tenants and Leasing De
partment. Coordinate activities of the Development Department and serve as the
