Summary: I am a director of a five million-dollar transloading company and biodi

esel manufacturing plant. We have two terminals in California. The company offer
s three services, terminalization of hazardous materials in rail tank cars, truc
king utilizing a twenty-seven-unit fleet of cargo tanks and tractors, and third
party logistics. I am responsible for the safe operation of the business. I inte
rpret and teach the industry standard regulations, OSHA, EPA, and DOT. I have a
major responsibility to conceptualize, design, build, and install custom equipme
nt for the safe handling of liquid hazardous materials. I am responsible for all
rail movement for both terminals; this is the lifeblood of our business. I take
the lead in staffing the operation, currently forty employees report to me thro
ugh other managers. I look over the maintenance of the terminals, and manufactur
ing plant and rolling assets. I am held responsible for four cost centers. I am
considered a valuable asset to the team and hold a key position in the company.

Direct the daily operation of a five million-dollar transloading, trucking and m
anufacturing company. I Report directly to the president of the company. I devel
op and implemented human resource guidelines for the hiring and ongoing evaluati
on of employees for all divisions. Administrate DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations
for all divisions. Develop, implement and manage preventative maintenance progr
am for all plants and vehicles. Obtain all required permits for all terminals.
I interact with lawmakers on behalf of the industry. I have been successful in
creating new regulated actions and definitions that are an integral part of the
industry. Manage service quality for all divisions. Administrate Corporate Heal
th and Safety program. Teach and participate, as a first responder in the emerg
ency response program. Run all rail tank car logistics. We have over 1,200 HAZM
AT rail tank car per year go through our terminals. I have conceptualized, engi
neered, fabricated, installed, and energized bulk transfer and storage equipment
used in the handling of liquid hazardous materials, many times. I oversee the e
ntire operation and direct through a unified chain of command.
Responsible for the start up operation of a 3 MGY biodiesel refinery. Handle the
all permitting issues, direct lab personal in proper QA/QC. Develop new refinin
g processes in an effort to minimize waste and maximize product and product qual
ity. Make sure that the refinery is a safe place to work. Found a way to make ev
ery potential California Hazardous Waste stream a product that generates revenue
in place of an additional expense.

rehouse LTL freight and distributed using company owned trucks. I worked the Ord
er Desk. This opportunity familiarizes me with the principals, products, and th
e customers that PCC maintained. Co-wrote NACD Responsible Care Certification.

November 1995 - May 1996:

I managed a sixty-three-unit fleet of tractor-trailers and the facilities to sup
port them. Developed goals and objectives for the future growth of my team, whi
ch consisted of thirty-nine people. Oversaw the maintenance of the fleet. Dire

th clients, bidding, and, running jobs. The other oversaw all the yard activiti

My primary responsibility was to perform the day-to-day operations function for
a 200 million-dollar nationwide Chlor-alkali manufacturer and distributor. Duti
es include hiring and firing of personnel. I directed the activities of the Dis
tribution Coordinator. Interface with affiliated terminal personnel, common car
riers, suppliers, railroads, and governmental agencies and, at the Sales Teams r
equest, the customer. I wrote technical manuals for the ISO 9002 project. I al
so wrote and maintained the MSDSs and shipping documents, company wide. I perfo
rmed audits on proposed and existing affiliated terminals in order to verify tha
t they could meet our needs. Wrote and taught classes in CFR 29, 40, 49, and CC
R Title 8. Designed and oversaw the construction of tank farms and custom liqui
d metering equipment for which I received an award and cash bonus. Maintained a
fleet of six power units and eight cargo tanks.

My primary responsibility was to apply the UFC and UBC to tank installations, re
movals and modifications. I approved blueprints, observed pressure and chemical
testing to confirm tank integrity. I verified the proper operation of monitori
ng equipment. I reviewed lab analyses pertaining to site remediation. I issued
notices of violation under the Fire Chiefs direction.
