1.

How do you see the growth potential for

Bhoruka Aluminium from the upcoming demand
from India’s endow with vast solar energy
potential?

Fortunately, India lies in sunny regions of the world. This gives great
opportunity for visionary companies to invest upon Solar Power industry. With
burgeoning energy demand, focus has now increased on green energy.

India is slowly gaining ground as manufacturing centre for solar PV modules.

Given that the pace of technology is young and is in an evolving stage, the
government's National Solar Mission would attract investment in the manufacturing
solar PV. This will take aluminium extrusion business also with it, to growth rate of
10-15%.

2. Solar is currently high at on absolute cost

compared to other sources of power such as coal.
How do you strategize your technological
innovations will cut down the cost of panels to
grid the parity?

We intend to add more value to our offerings, to deliver products that are
finished to the next level under one roof and offer significant cost savings. We offer
a number of processing methods for PV frames. These include surface treatment
methods such as powder coating and anodisation. At Bhoruka Fabcons- a brand new
initiative from Bhoruka group provides solar industry with a broad spectrum of
value-adding services including CNC machining, cut-to-length sawing, mitre cutting /
compound mitre, drilling / chamfering, counter sinking, tapping, milling, assembling,
vibratory deburring etc.,

Foreseeing the demand for aluminium extrusions in solar

industry, we are foraying to invest on setting up another
anodizing line and a dedicated fabricating line with
facilities for Cutting, punching, CNC processing.
Cost of solar projects greatly depends on the logistics solutions. Our award
winning SAP business practices promises high delivery performance at low cost. Our
ability to deliver finished solutions directly to project site creates significant value to
our customers by reducing installation times and cut installation costs.
3. The objective of National Solar Mission is to
establish India as a global leader in Solar Energy
in a way to cut down zero emission. How do you
interpret such objective to add value to
Aluminium Extrusion industry?

Renewable energies and aluminium go well together: Aluminium is one of the

most environmentally friendly materials in use today for making solar modules
because of recyclability along with great possibilities of integrating functions into
the profiles.

Having the advantage, with our clear ambition to grow in Indian solar market
we are currently investing on a number of projects to achieve this. By National solar
mission we see great opportunities to join forces with strong energy giants such as
BHEL, TATA-BP, Emmvee and Areva to access the rapidly growing solar power
business.

With investment commitment of over Rs 7000 crores under National Solar

mission, in both CSP and PV technology, aluminium extrusion is the common
denominator. With this, the demand for aluminium extrusions can be safely
assumed to be on a positive side.

4. To capture new business, your suggestion to

the aluminium extrusion industry?

Innovative technology for more pragmatic business and dedicated culture of

putting customer’s interest first is a critical success factor.

5. Is Bhoruka Aluminium is strategizing to

integrate entire solution apart from panels to tap
this new market?

Given the pace of growth in demand for aluminium in solar power sector, we
are foraying to invest on installing fourth production line for aluminium extrusion to
increase our capacity to 2,600 tonnes per month. In addition, we are setting up a
fabrication and finishing facility dedicated for solar requirements. With anodizing
line, a dedicated fabricating line would include facilities for Cutting, punching,
hydroforming, fusion welding & CNC processing.

6. Last but not least, your company strategy to

capture the demand from key demand drivers
from infrastructure, architecture etc?

We are an aggressive advocate for aluminium in infrastructure and

architecture. Bhoruka is now the undisputedly the single largest supplier to the
construction industry in India. We expect to hold the same position in days to come.
To achieve this, we are moving towards a culture of providing not only products &
services to our customers, but solutions. We’ve tied up with global giants such as
Arup, EFP, Alu-K to launch state-of-the-art products in India at price-points relevant
to the Indian market
