Tasks Performed at Raytheon Company
As an Engineering Test Technician I performed duties such as setting up, adjusti
ng, and operating electronic test equipment in order to perform functional, oper
ational, and stress tests on U.S. military missile products. Also I performing a
ssembly and disassembly tasks to optimize the flow of product through test, incl
uding mechanical assembly and soldering including accepting or rejecting tested
items per established accept/reject criteria provided.
Other duties included troubleshooting, isolating, and diagnose failures and malf
unctions on tested items for the purpose of recommending appropriate rework to
identify potential problems in electronic items or test equipment before malfun
ctions occur (preventive maintenance). While at the Raytheon Company I have work
ed on state-of-the-art AC/DC circuits, semiconductors, integrated and microelect
ronic circuits, operational amplifiers, RF equipment, digital and analog electro
nics, and related troubleshooting.
Performs electronic inspection for proper assembly of units, and calls attention
to deficiencies in design and manufacture of tested items. Works with blueprint
s, design drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, test procedures. Perform preven
tive maintenance to electronic acceptance equipment and machines. Works with eng
ineers in construction of experimental, developmental, and prototype equipment t
o establish test procedures, and determine method of construction of new prototy
pe equipment. Recommends change in design methods in order to facilitate both ex
isting and new testing methods. In my employment history category, I have given
