Introduction:
“Doing the technical job efficiently and properly so
that no damage is done to material or human being is called safety”.

There are two slightly different meanings of safety. For example,

home safety may indicate a building's ability to protect against
external harm events (such as weather, home invasion, etc.), or may
indicate that its internal installations (such as appliances, stairs, etc.)
are safe (not dangerous or harmful) for its inhabitants.

Accidents:
“An unfortunate incident that happens unexpectedly and
unintentionally, typically resulting in damage or injury to the material
or human being is called accident”.
Accidents can be avoided by taking proper safety measurements.

Poor working conditions of any type have the
potential to affect a worker's health and safety.

factories — they can be found anywhere, whether the

 Poor working conditions also affect the environment
workers live in, since the working and living environments
are the same for many workers.
 Workers can be exposed to toxic chemicals in a number
of ways when they are doing their job.
 Proper temperature is also very important for safe
working.

Unsafe act of a worker can also cause accidents. It can
happen due to the following reasons

 Lack of knowledge about the work.

 Don’t following the rules properly.
 Lack of concentration and devotion to work
 Improper use of equipment.
 Don’t using the safety clothes.
 Untrained operator
 Over loading
 Over speeding.

(c)Unsafe mechanism:
The uncovered moving parts of a machinery or
equipment can also cause accidents such as an uncovered cutter or
electrical wires.

2) Acid burns.
3) Blocked emergency exits.
4) Improper marking of the hazardous materials.
