* Collaborated on the research and development of the highly acclaimed iObservat
ion online electronic teacher observation/professional growth system and am list
ed with the US Patent Office as "inventor"
* Designed and wrote technical manuals for users of the iObservation system and
the online learning management system

* Supervised and provided guidance for the development of online graduate course
s/master's programs for teachers and administrators on topics such as 21st Centu

hundreds of districts using company products as part of the Classrooms for the

* Supervised and mentored both novice and experienced instructional designers, m
ultimedia designers, and videographers
* Coordinated the efforts of the Production Team with other teams within the com
pany, including facilitating collaboration with employees who were sometimes dif
ficult to work with
* Had responsibility for the Production Team members' growth and professional de
velopment, as well as the department budgeting (between 1 and 2 million dollars
per year) and scheduling

* Due to varied curriculum work, became well-versed in the theories, research, a
nd practices of many well-respected educational researchers, such as Robert Marz
ano, Charlotte Danielson, Carol Tomlinson, Doug Reeves, and John Larmer. (I hav
e personally met and worked directly with Robert Marzano, Jane Kise, and Charlot
te Danielson.)
* Worked directly with Jane Kise (nationally known expert on instructional coach
ing) on instructional coaching strategies and reviewed her manuscript for Corwin
Press.
* Supervised and mentored the team that prepared for and videotaped "best practi
ce" videos in classrooms across the United States, which served as exemplars for
teachers and administrators. The videos are used as training pieces to accompa
ny the iObservation teacher online observation/professional growth system.
* Supported the Customer Service Department on technical and learning issues
* Assisted the CEO in developing and implementing a vision for the company's pro
ducts
* Reviewed (and in some cases wrote) online course materials
* Designed interfaces for online learning management
* Wrote online training courses and training manuals for online course facilitat
ors/instructors
* Conducted fact-to-face training for online facilitators
* Interpreted and helped team members apply the basic concepts of adult educatio
n as they developed coursework and other products (toolkits, face-to-face traini
ngs, technical manuals, etc.)
