te Danielson.)
* Worked directly with Jane Kise (nationally known expert on instructional coach
ing) on instructional coaching strategies and reviewed her manuscript for Corwin

teachers and administrators. The videos are used as training pieces to accompa

Most articles were based on my classroom/school action research projects.
* Authored a professional development book for teachers related to the developme
nt of standards-based portfolios that could be applied to all subject areas
* Co-authored a professional development book that would allow districts to dev
elop a cohesive standards-based curriculum, instruction, and a district-wide ass
essment system, as well as allow schools and districts to analyze and report the
performance of students within the system
* Taught nearly 200 continuing professional education courses (graduate level) a
nd workshops for numerous intermediate units within the state of Pennsylvania in
the areas of curriculum and assessment, as well as both standards-based and bra
in-based instructional strategies for novice teachers (teacher induction), exper
ienced teachers, and for administrators
* Served on the faculty of the 2002 Pennsylvania Governor's Institute for Data-D
riven Decision Making
* Provided curriculum services for numerous intermediate units, such as IU's 4,
5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 28. This included leading multi-district teams of teachers i
nterpreting standards and developing curriculum in science, technology, environm
ent/ecology, mathematics, language arts, and social studies
* Facilitated curriculum analysis and development and provided other consulting
services for numerous school districts (such as the School District of Philadelp
hia, Butler, West Middlesex, Bedford Area, Tussey Mountain, Everett, Union City,
Holidaysburg, Gateway, Huntingdon, and many others)
* Presented at state and national educational conferences such as NSTA and PASCD
* Provided consultant services to the Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia Depa
rtments of Education
* Participated in the Pennsylvania Department of Education's "PATT" science asse

* Participated in science assessment projects with CCSSO (Council of Chief State
School Officers) and served as a national "trainer of trainers"
