* Recognition Fee for examinations Conducted in India is Rs.275/- and for examinations
Conducted out side India (Foreign examination) is Rs. 530/-
INSTRUCTIONS

Cols (1) (a) and (8) The name of the student in column (1) (a) and his signature in column
(8) of the application should not differ in any respect from the name as
found in the Pass Certificate and should the name as given in the pass
Certificate differ in any respect, the discrepancy should be rectified by
Addressing the Authority concerned before the Certificates are sent to
this office.

Cols (4) (b) If the pass Certificate contains this information, the Certificate from the Principal
required in this behalf under column (CII) need not be produced.

(c) & (d) Apply only in the case of Examinations sought to be recognized as
equivalent to the corresponding Examinations of this University other than
the Matriculation Examination

Copies of Certificates will not be accepted

The Ordinances regarding the recognition of Examinations are reproduced below for
information:-
“For the purpose of admission to courses of study in this University, the Syndicate shall
have the power to recognize Pre-University Examination of other Indian University and of duly
constituted Boards of Secondary and Intermediate Education and Degree Examination of other
Indian Universities as equivalent to the corresponding Examinations of this University subject to
the following conditions:
(1) that, the normal length of the course prescribed leading to the Examination sought
to be recognized shall not be less than that for the corresponding examination of this University.
(2) that, the course of study for the Examination sought to be recognized to shall have
been pursued in a University or in a College recognized by a University provided that it shall be
competent for Syndicate in Special cases to waive the above conditions; and
(3) that, in the case of admission to a Professional Course, the restriction of subject if
any, imposed on candidates of this University shall be applicable to candidates who have passed
Examinations of other Universities or Bodies”
“ For the purpose of admission to courses of study in this University, examinations
conducted by Bodies other than those mentioned in the above Ordinance may, in individual cases
and on the merits, recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent to the corresponding Examinations
of this University.”

a. Recognition fee is Rs. 230/- (for examinations conducted in India)
