Course Title: Web Programming and Development
Course Credit: Three (3) Credit Hours Semester, Academic Year: 2nd Semester, 2010-2011

Course Description: This course introduces the students the popular programming language used to create WebPages known as HTML or Hypertext Markup Language. In which, the
student will able to learn by examples and like to see how code works, including text formatting and page layout with an emphasis on well formed valid codes. It is for a beginner who
wants to be familiarized with the collection of elements of HTML, concepts and commands. It provides them the opportunity to apply and master what they have learned through the
actual use of the computer.

Overall Objective: They will be equipped to become future Website developer in a simple and enjoyable way while acquiring skills productivity and creativity.

Course Objectives: By the end of the semester, the students will be able to:

1. Review of Netiquette when using computer and the internet.


2. Understand the importance of HTML in the Internet.
3. Create simple web pages using text editor.
4. Understand the uses of different basic HTML elements, tags and attributes.
5. Understand the concepts of Web Systems and E-Commerce
6. Use and create WebPages using Microsoft FrontPage.
7. Use and create WebPages using Dreamweaver.
8. Create, presents and defend a B2C E-Commerce Static Website.
