The US mischievously and callously waged very bloody war against the Vietnamese

people during the sixties and early seventies, sowing untold destruction on their soil,
distributing enormous grief and causing the deaths of nearly 5 million people. After
killing so many, and causing so much mindless destruction, the US left the land for
good. So it seemed.

But today, the US is back in Vietnam. Silently, that is. The US is very evil, very
illegal and very sinister. Its secret purpose is to whip up new mischief in Vietnam.

Like in many cases around the world, the US first got involved in the Vietnam quagmire
by militarily interfering and meddling in the affairs of another country, supposedly to
protect the people. But the Vietnamese people had no need of any protection from the
US. Very rashly in the early sixties, the US sent some of its Special Forces personnel
to establish contacts with corrupt pro-western Saigonese puppets, and one thing quickly
led to another. By 1964, the US Navy was milling around the waters off Vietnam and
soon, the US staged the fake ‘Gulf of Tonkin Incident’ to get the US military to invade
the land of Vietnam. US Marines made carefully staged beach landings in 1965 and by
1968, the US was massively bombing northern Vietnam. By 1970, the US was carpet-
bombing parts of southern Vietnam, large parts of eastern Laos, and also Cambodia. So
much for protecting people. The US was hoping to win a swift victory but instead got
caught in a very dirty and very bloody quagmire that only ended when the US Army left
Vietnam with its tail tucked between its legs. The US government even enacted the
‘Final Flight from Saigon’ or the mass exodus from the airport to try to hoodwink the
entire world about how noble its actions were in Vietnam. In reality, the US was the
most sinister presence ever seen or known by the Vietnamese people.

Besides bombing, killing, maiming and destroying, the US treated Vietnam like a sworn
enemy, one that deserved little or no mercy. Many massacres were carried out by the US.
Today, however, the US is greeting Vietnam as if it had just met a long lost friend. Right
now, the US is happily agreeing to help Vietnam build nuclear plants, allowing US Navy
ships to take part in Vietnamese naval exercises and permitting the sale of some weapons
to the Vietnamese military. Clearly, the US is out to create new mischief and trouble. It
is therefore very evil, and very illegal. It is a threat to peace and a threat to all mankind.
