Rastalava Alert Level One KEzon Edition

PROJECT BACKGROUND
The project is entitled RASTALAVA Alert Level One KEzon Edition. This project generally aims to raise
funds for the socio-civic and community service endeavors of the Southern Luzon Kappa Epsilon Alumni
Association, Inc. (SLKEAAI) which is in line with its primary advocacy of “principles of brotherhood through
service to fellowmen”. Other objectives include:
a. Provide a venue for building camaraderie among youth of Calauag by participating in this friendly
competition;
b. Conduct an activity during the fiesta week of Calauag in order to show cooperation in celebrating
this momentous event that would add tourism value to the town fiesta.
c. Establish inter-agency partnership with government and private stakeholders.

The project is scheduled on May 27, 2011 and to be held at Calauag Municipal Plaza. The contest shall receive
entries from all Kappa Epsilon Chapters covered under the area jurisdiction of the SLKEAAI. In this manner,
tourist will come to Calauag to attend this event. The music genre that would be imposed among band entries
would be Rastafarian, reggae or ska. The contest will have two parts, the Battle of the Bands which is
basically based on the showmanship and over-all performance of the participants and the Song-Writing
Competition which is based on their original song entry which will evolve but not limited to the theme
“Kabataan, may magagawa ka para sa Kalikasan” or basically about protecting the environment. Each team
shall have three song entries, a cover song, rendition and original song. Each band has a chance of getting
two titles and two prizes for that matter.

SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT

The parties to this contract are the Southern Luzon Kappa Epsilon Alumni Association, Inc “SLKEAAI”, (herein
after referred to as the “Host") and ________________________________________________________, (herein after
referred to as the "Sponsor").

This Agreement shall become effective on the date signed below and will remain in effect until all
responsibilities set out are fulfilled. The parties acknowledge that they will use their best good faith efforts to
negotiate and resolve subsequent issues that may arise from this Agreement as a result of unforeseen
occurrences and that may alter the conditions of this Agreement.

The terms and conditions of this agreement shall not be disclosed to any third parties without the prior
written consent of both parties. The rights of either party under this agreement shall not be transferable or
assignable either in whole or in part.

Termination of this agreement by the undersigned sponsor results in the host retaining 100% of the sponsor’s
contribution. There will be N0 refunds. Payments described will be retained as liquidated damages. All tax
liabilities and permits are the sole responsibility of the vendor.
