 Are you a life/biomedical science PhD graduate who obtained

his/her degree in the UK and is now returning to your home
country?
 Do you want to get some paid training in qualitative biopharma
market research?
 Are you interested in pursuing a career in biopharma consulting
within your home country?

We are looking for talented, inquisitive fast-learners to train up in our London

headquarters over a period of 2-4 months who would then have the
opportunity to partnering with us upon returning to their home country. We are
particularly interested in citizens of emerging markets such as China, India,
Brazil and Russia but more broadly we would be interested in hearing from
you if you are from Latin America, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.

 Who are we?

o Deallus are a competitive strategy consultancy that work with
major global biopharmaceutical companies. We are a team of
around 25 consultants with backgrounds in the life sciences and
a strong business acumen.
 What do we do?
o We provide decision support and analysis for key strategic
decisions relating to the effective and competitive development
and commercialisation of their drugs.
 How do we do it?
o Applying our expertise in the medical/clinical/commercial
spheres, we use a range of qualitative research methodologies
including telephone research and medical congress attendance,
to gather market place information from a range of industry
stakeholders, to develop insights relating to our client’s
landscape.
 Where are we based?
o We have offices in London, Santa Monica, New York and Lisbon
currently and are opening an Asian office in Singapore soon.
 What can you expect?
o As biopharma companies globalise their sales and operations,
we too are building our network of consulting professionals to
meet the need strategic needs of our international customer
base. Our aim is to train you with the basic research and
consulting methodologies, to then partner with you once you are
established within one of our region/country of interest. Where
your time overlaps with one of our regular externally
commissioned training events (previous examples from
McKinsey and INSEAD consultants), you will also be invited to
participate in these.
  What qualifications are we looking for?
o Essentials
 Life Science PhD
 A strong interest in or proven experience within the
biopharmaceutical industry
 Excellent oral and written English
 Native language speaker in the countries of interest
 An ambitious and inquisitive nature
 Attention to detail
 An analytical mind
 An entrepreneurial spirit
o Desirable
 An existing contact network within your home country
 Experience in qualitative market research

Remuneration
We will pay you a salary during your time in our London office. The details of
the partnership will be negotiated on a case by case basis
