This year's theme is "Celebrating 35 Years". Join us! Learn firsthand from Oxford House residents and
alumni how to expand or start Oxford Houses in your area. NIAAA and NIDA studies show the cost-
effectiveness of the Oxford House movement. Help expand the number of houses from over 1,400 to
10,000 or more. The need is great and after 35 years of experience the concept, the protocol and the
implementation is proven!

The dates of the Convention are Thursday, September 2 to Sunday September 5. Everyone will arrive on
Thursday and the convention proceedings will start early Friday morning and end around 10:00 am on
Sunday.

Notes on arrival times: the Annual Women's Conference will be held on Thursday, Sept 2 at 3:00 pm. The
Annual Golf Tournament starts on Thursday, Sept 2 at 8:00 am. Those planning to attend these events
should schedule their travel accordingly.

The World Conventions are always a great opportunity for the Oxford House
family to come together in an exciting city to meet residents, alumni and
friends from across the country and share ideas on successfully living in
recovery. There will be many workshops of interest to all and several social
events like the Friday evening event, a Saturday evening Awards Banquet,
and dances. 12 step meetings will also be held at the hate!. The Oxford
Houses in Illinois are excited about playing hosts to the convention this year
