BLUE GREEN CAPITAL – Director, Business Development - International
• Co-founded and launched a solar energy development and services company from concept, design, and company
inception to successful corporate fundraising of Euro 400,000. Co-managed all phases of company launch including
incorporation, hiring of four fulltime employees, IT, and accounting services.
• Vetted acquisition opportunities, oversaw legal and financial due diligence, and assisted in the acquisition of
ownership rights to 5.1MW of projects in Andalucia and Castilla y León, Spain.
• Co-authored private placement memorandums for project financing, representing $28.2MM of investment (1.9MWp of
single axis tracker, 3MWp of static).
• Managed subcontractor relationships, budget, corporate governance, for all elements of project construction.
Oversaw implementation schedule and provided comprehensive cost accounting and cost modelling.
• Developed numerous relationships with installers, promoters, and financiers for project development and acquisition
in Spain, France, Israel, Bulgaria, and the UK. Signed Letters of Intent for 30MW+ of photovoltaic projects.
• Signed and oversaw contract structure (LOI) for 4,8MW pipeline of rooftop and 20 MW ground-mounted photovoltaic
installation in Israel. Negotiated terms with a Spanish EPC provider, for an initial tranche of 6.5MW of rooftop
mounted projects.
• Oversaw additional solar development opportunities in Egypt, Senegal, and the United States.
2005 – 2005 VRANJE, SERBIA
CITIZENS HABITAT FINANCE (USAID/CHF) - Economic Development Consultant
• Performed feasibility study for pioneer entrepreneurship program in the Vranje Municipality. Established university
partnerships for the CHF business development program in relation to the local agriculture and textile industries
• Conducted studies on development opportunities for the South Serbia agricultural industry. Provided marketing
training to the local staff. Evaluated and invested in local investment projects.

2004 – 2004 NEW YORK, UNITED STATES


UNITED NATIONS (UNCDF) - Assistant to Chief Technical Advisor to Microfinance
• Negotiated for and contracted spokespeople for events, including musicians Anggun and Souad Massi, for the launch
of the 2005 Year of Microcredit.
• Identified and assessed banking networks with micro finance projects (FINCOMUN) in Africa. Coordinated
promotional activities between banking networks in Africa and the launch of Year of Microcredit initiative.
• Wrote and published microfinance articles in UN newsletters on the impact of AIDS in the Microfinance Sector in
Africa, and Regional Assessment of Microfinance in Latin America.

• Managed a $250,000 budget for the integration of 75 new employees following Pfizer´s acquisition of Pharmacia.
• Analyzed sales mix, resources and market trends for the drug marketing department. Identified high sales performers.
