Since studying in science stream during my secondary school, my interest towards

chemistry and physic become deeper. From there, I have decided to pursue my stu
dy in Chemical Physic in a higher level which are the combination of both of my
favourite subjects. As a preparation before pursuing my studies in Chemical Phys
ic, I had read some books and magazines related to chemistry and physics. Beside
s that, I always benefit the internet to keep myself up to date in Chemical Phys
ic field. For me, chemistry and physic concept are really interesting and fascin
ate me . This is because, I am a person who really like to think logically, chal
lenge myself and using my brain potential to solve complicated problem. Thus, I
think Chemical Physic is one of the best platform for me to apply my ability and
knowledge hence solving problems related to that subject. Other than that, I ha
ve a great interest in questions such as How a chemical reaction can occurs and w
hat are the factors that affect the reaction, and how we can manipulate certain
chemical reaction to produce something that are really useful to ecosystem and m
ankind? Question like this made my passion towards science become even deeper, th
us, why not if me myself using all my natural potential to unfold the mysterious
in chemical reactions hence carry out something that can bring differences in o
ur daily life? Besides being a high-inquiry person, I also intend to do research
during my degree to enhance my understanding related to Chemical Physic especia
lly in molecular structure that enable me to benefit my knowledge both in Physic
and chemistry.

Furthermore, I have done my A level course in Chemistry, Physic, Mathematics as

well as Mechanics. I would be able to apply my knowledge both in physic and mech
anic to carry out research in Chemical Physic field. During A level, we are expo
sed to laboratory environment and already get used to it. With those experiences
, I can perform well during my research and laboratory work. I found that workin
g in laboratory does not make me boring, instead, it made myself enjoy doing exp
eriment while learning new things. For me, experiment is one of the most importa
nt element in science, especially in chemistry. In my opinion, science is a dyna
mic field which is always changing and improve. Science can only be brought to a
higher level through empirical and experimental method hence solving human unce
rtainty.
During my secondary school, I had join the Science and Mathematics Society which
were my favorite subjects. In that society, I hold the position of president. A
s a dedicated president, I had organized a lot of activities for my society and
one of the most grand and outstanding activity that organized by me was a visit
to our main palm oil factory. Furthermore, I was also actively involved in volun
tary works such as organizing education workshop for primary school students who
were going to sit for national exam. I was also active in sports such as badmin
ton and football. After getting an outstanding result in SPM (Malaysia Exam Cert
ificate), I was offered by JPA ( Public Service Department of Malaysia ) to cont
inue my studies in Cempaka International School. In Cempaka International School
, I was doing my A level course before pursuing my studies in the chosen field i
n United Kingdom. During my studies in Cempaka, I was elected to become the Pres
ident of A Level Student Council. Being a dedicated president, I had organized a
few activities for A level student council such as Bowling Tournament, setting
up booth during school festival to raise money, Paint ball tournament, as well a
s senior of A level farewell party.

Besides doing voluntary work, I also had attended internship program in our main
hospital. There, I was placed in the pathology laboratory to see and learn as m
uch as I could on how they work. Although it was just a short internship, I had
gained valuable experienced about the real work environment. I was also given th
e chance to see how they operate machines involved in the experiment for example
machine used to analyzed blood serum, centrifuge machine, and machine that used
 to detect protein deficiency in blood sample (leukemia test). From this interns
hip program, it will give me a lot of advantages compared to other students due
to the real work experience that I had gained.
