 At the time of writing, the self-assessment is complete; the primary skills audit

is very close to completion and will be completed for Friday’s deadline. The ITP
has been extensively worked on over the holidays and is very, very close to
being up-to-date. Each standard now has the ‘bare bones’ of evidence, with
some evidence to be sourced and up-dated as this term 5 progresses.

Discussion of core topic and recommended academic reading and research related to this

with KD next week.

General review of the week


GB is back in Foundation for the first time since before Christmas. This 3-day
week (due to national holidays) has consisted of being in the classroom,
supporting KD and ‘getting a foundation hat on again’. It was noted that some of

the children in class 3 have made huge levels of progress since December, and
are now working on YR1 level numeracy and literacy. KD and GB agreed that GB
should focus his teaching on these children (after a whole class input). KD has
very kindly set out a current APP folder to assist and support GB with planning,
assessment and AFL with those children (approx. 10 in class 3).
