Youth groups from around the world have joined together to fight corruption in their countries.
Members share experiences, ideas and resources via an online social network, video conferences, and
face-to-face events. GYAC also works with musicians to create global songs against corruption and
supports journalists in their fight for greater transparency and accountability.
GYAC wants to expand our membership to include new organizations. We are membership driven, and
still forging our identity. The expanded GYAC network will meet this April, for its 2nd annual forum in
Nairobi. If selected a member, your organization will be invited to join us in Nairobi for this exciting
event, which will open to you a lot of opportunities to enhance your work on ant-corruption.
In order for your application to be considered, your organization must fulfill the following
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Organization must have a proven interest in promoting good governance, transparency and
supporting accountability in day-to-day activities at both local and national levels.
2. Organization must be lead by and centered on youth. (Youth is defined as anyone between
the ages of 16 and 35 as of May 31, 2011.)
3. A youth delegate from the applicant organization must be able to attend the Nairobi
conference scheduled for end of April, 2010.

Vision
Consolidate to citizens and actors of political life as an autonomous body with full
capacity to ensure democracy in the state, rigiéndonos provided by the principles of
certainty, legality, independence, impartiality, objectivity, fairness and professionalism,

Mission
We are an institution whose commitment is to contribute to the development of
democratic life, in the exercise as the fulfillment of their rights and obligations by
political and electoral vote, the plebiscite and referendum as forms of citizen
participation. We walked to the empowerment and participation of youth in public
activity, as a democratic potion.
Objectives
- Mainly plan, coordinate, supervise and organize the electoral process, so we can all
vote.
- Ensuring youth participation in public activity.
We look after and protect the exercise of political and electoral rights of citizens.
- Address the rights and prerogatives of the political parties.
- Promote the political culture and civic education.
- We met and we met in the competition within our electoral laws.

with which we share work, experiences and of course we can learn from you.
