OBJECTIVE:

The aim of this assignment is to assess students’ understanding on the concept

of good governance and system of government.

GUIDELINES

1. This is a group project. It contributes fifteen percent (15%) of the coursework

marks.

2. The assignment must be in essay form. You may include any articles,
newspaper cuttings or other necessary things to make your assignment
superb and interesting.

3. This assignment must be typewritten using computer (Word document):

a. Font: Arial
b. Font size: 12
c. Double spacing
d. Margins - Top:1.25”
- Bottom: 1”
- Left :1.25”
- Right:1”

4. Minimum pages is 20 [not included content, bibliography, appendixes and

pictures) and the maximum pages is 40.

5. The cover of the assignment must be as in Appendix 1.

6. Use A4 size paper only and submit the assignment in binding form.

7. The last date of submission (hardcopy & softcopy-e-mail) is on or before the

29th April, 2011 before 5:30p.m. Late submission will be penalized
(Deduction of one mark per day).

8. Plagiarism, copying and cheating will NOT be awarded any mark.

QUESTION

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Form a group consist of five (5) members.

2. Each group must choose a country or state and e-mail it to the lecturer. No
redundant name is allowed.

3. Identify the system of government of that country (e.g. parliamentary

democracy, constitutional monarchy etc.) and the reason for such classification.

4. Analyze the country’s political condition and state your opinion whether the
country have a good governance and leadership.
