female. Of course we can check reverse of it also.

Many months back matching was approved.
Due to obstacles in negotiation now marriage not occurring is a possibility. Reason is male side not
willing to perform any social function but insisting for dowry?
Just for understanding I checked praptham for tentative date of marriage being 23 Nov 2008.
Praptham both ways is missing.
Wedding between pair thus not destined.
My question is when DBA of one and RP at birth of other should be seen? On date of matching or on
tentative date of marriage.
I always check Praphtam , but not finding my notes. I could have erred in applying the rule.
Just for check data of natives in question are:
Male 31 Jan 1980 TOB 02:55AM 24N29, 73E 40.
Female 27 Oct 1981 TOB 23:05 27N11 78E02 (twin birth younger by 5 minutes other was male)
Note (Below after / planet written is in constellation of corresponding DBA.)
For Tentaive date of marriage .23 nov 2008.
Male DBA: Mer/Nil- Mar/Mer- moon/Sun.
Female birth RP: are Moon-Sat-Ven-Rah-Mars
Merc does not tally .No praptham.
Reverse
Female DBA are: Jup/RA-Mar/Mer.Jup- Jup-Sat
Male birth RP are: Mars-Sat-Moon-Jup-Mer.
Moon among RP did not tally.
Please teach me AM I applying principle wrongly?
Secondly What if, same proposal is considered say after a year?

Here is sumary of rules I have learned for application of Praptham.
RULE 1. In matching a horoscope first determine the correct ascendant of
the partner from the natives chart before checking up kuta.
Note the lord of sign where the cusp of vii falls.
Note the lord of constellation in which cusp is seated
Note the lord of SUB.( these are rcs of 7 th cusp Rasi, constellation and
sub)
1.This combination of RCS gives clue to determine exact asc of partner.
2.Consider any other planet also if that is conjunct, with either of RCS.
3.If node happens to be a planet among RCS then planet in its sub; planet
conjoined with it, aspecting it and the lord of sign where it is posited have to
be taken into account.
ASC of partner will have these planets as elements of point in zodiac

Second Rule:
Ruling planets of lagan of boy or girl must reflect the houses 2,7,11 of
other , then only they become life partner otherwise not.A&A Dec86 page 19
Third rule:

Find current DBA of male .It should tally with RP at birth of female and vice
versa. Consider planets in constellation of DBA planets also along with DBA
planets.( swami Omakar DVD )

Before prapatham check 2,7,11 for each horoscope , if any one not promised
with marriage also the praptham will fail.

after finishing checking praptham. use ESP and check RP lagna star
connectivity with 2,7,11.

The checking with ESP i am saying becoz some time people may give wrong
horoscope or manipulated horoscope.
(it happaning in south india).

Thanks for clarification.
I did check praptham at time I approved of the match and also I checked II,VII and XI and roughly
checked marriage timing .
Instead of using ESP I checked uppada matching now I will try to adopt checking Lagan star connectivity
with II VII and XI houses.
In north also wrong reporting is resorted sometimes.
In instant case, Data of male was one day forward but was corrected by bridegroom party perhaps it was
due to date reckoning being near midnight. I am grateful for additional teaching about lagan star
connectivity with houses of marriage.
