Grupo LALA (www.lala.com.mx) started up in 1950
in Mexico. Today it has 8 pasteurization locations
and the biggest refrigerated product distribution
network in the country. With over 3,500 routes and
128 distribution centers, LALA visits over 200,000
customers every day, selling over 4 million lites of
milk and thousands of tons of diverse dairy products.
It has annual sales of about 2 billion dollars and is
one of the biggest milk producers in the country and
in Latin America, employing 23,000 people and
operating in Mexico, the United States and
Switzerland.

The group comprises more than 21 companies, 20


manufacturing plants, 180 product lines and 140

supply chain processes through SAP technology. This consulting and technology project was one of the market’s most

In addition, Grupo ASSA participated in the planning and optimization cycle for both Supply Chain, and Payroll and Human
Resources, carried out by other consulting firms.

The project included the design of all the new business processes for these cycles and the implementation of SAP solution
to support each one using the new components of mySAP Business Suite and SAP NetWeaver.

It was a project with a very high market impact, and for SAP it was one of the main year's main projects.
