Tech (8th Semester) Project

1. Title Page as per University convention (as per the attached file)
2. Certificate from the Internal Guide and HOD (as per the attached file)
3. Certificate from the External Guide (certificate from the company)
4. Acknowledgements: generally to your guide(s), various help received, discussions
held, etc. Remember that we stand on the shoulders of many people; here is an
opportunity to thank them.
5. Abstract (Problem Definition – Maximum 1 page)
6. Index (Table of Contents)
7. Feasibility Analysis
• Technical feasibility
• Time schedule feasibility
• Operational feasibility
• Implementation feasibility

8. Project Plan
• List of major activities, estimated time duration, precedence relationship, etc.
• Schedule of milestone activities
9. Requirement Analysis
• Present system, what improvements desired, etc.
• List of inputs and outputs (e.g. reports)
• Business rules including validation checks

• Basic hardware and software required or assumed
10. System Design
• Design strategy, e.g. 2-tier, 3-tier, etc
• DFD (context level to maximum up to 3 levels) , software decomposition into
modules

Note:
1. Some of the topics may not be applicable to some of the projects in that case you
can ignore some content or you can add as per the requirement and guidance of
your project guide.
2. Point no 7 to 12 must focus on individual’s project. Do not write any theory for
these topics.
