RULES AND REGULATIONS: 2011 XRT STOCK CAR CHAMPIONSHIP

I. GENERAL RACE PROCEDURES

A. Server Deadline: The drivers have to be in the servers at 16:55GMT

B. Qualifying on Ovals: It will be a 60 minutes Qualifying session, the drivers will go one-by-one and will
have 1 out lap, 2 hot laps and 1 in lap. Drivers will join as soon as the most recent driver crossed the line.

2B. Qualifying on Road Courses: It will be a 20 minutes Qualifying session with every drivers on the track.

3B. Qualifying on Autocross Ovals and Road Courses: Same as the Oval part but with 40 minutes. If there
are more than 16 participants, the fastest 8 drivers will be locked into the race, there will be 1 or 2
Reserve Shootout(s), the fastest 6 drivers will be in the race. If there is 2 Reserve Shootouts, the top 3
drivers of the first one and the top 3 drivers from the second one will be in the race. Last position
determined by qualifying (fastest non qualifier) (15 drivers + 1 safety car)

II. CAUTION FLAG PROCEDURES & REASONS

IIA.PROCEDURES

A) Pacecar pulls out infront of lead car

B) Pace speed is 120Kmh/75Mph, AU1 speed is 89KmH/45Mph


C) Pacelaps under yellow are SINGLE FILE.

D) The pace car will lead 2 laps before the green flag can be waved.

E) The drivers will start doubling up with 2/3 turns to go before the front straight.

F) The pace car will enter the pits and you will see "GREEN FLAG" on both the center of your screen and
in the chat.

G) Overtakes are accepted ONLY at the start.

H) Pitlane Speed for AutoCross tracks is 56Kmh/35Mph, and will be marked with a double chalk line and
posts or cones to indicate when it starts and stops the set speed.

E) Pitlane procedure also requires that all pitting cars stay in the lane furthest from the pit stalls , you
may cross it within 4 pit boxes early to enter, you must also exit by pulling into the furthest lane as well
to avoid incidents in pitlane using the same measures.

IIB.Yellow Flag Reasons

A) Wreck that endangers the field

B) Grid start is unorganized/ laggy, call for a manual start if unsolveable by restarting race.

C) Car flipped/stuck in the gravel

IIC.Yellow Flag Procedures

A) A message saying "YELLOW FLAG" will be displayed.

B) The drivers will slow down and catch the pace car

C) The race will be on the yellow flag until the track is clear.

III. GENERAL ATTITUDE AND RACING ANTICS

IIIA. GENERAL ATTITUDE


A) Cursing/Bashing other drivers and admins is prohibited (even before the race) and will result in
penalty.

B) There will be a protest thread shortly after the race for drivers to protest against any wrecks that they
were involved into.

IIIB. RACING ANTICS

A)Intentional wrecking is PROHIBITED and will result from a 1 round ban to a Rev. Racing League ban.

B)You must be familiar with cars around you and not cause incidents.

C) Pit exits (at KY1) - Enter in via the back straight (between T2 and T3) or on the front straight (after T3,
ONLY ON YELLOWS), ANY DRIVERS ENTERING PITLANE VIA THE FRONT STRAIGHT ON A GREEN FLAG RUN
WILL RESULT IN A STOP-AND-GO PENALTY.

2C) Pit exits (at KY1) – Exit via the back straight (between T1 and T3.)

IV. POINTS DISTRIBUTION

A) Points will be awarded accordingly to :

V. BONUS POINTS AND PENALTIES

VA. Bonus Points

A)+1 points for

-Leading a lap

-Fastest Lap in the race

B) Penalties

-Warning for deemed necesarry incidents

-Penalties may be altered/changed to fit an incident as deemed necesarry

-Penalties may be protested against and rereviewed by a 2nd admin.

-Less than 25% of race = 50% points if you spectate without viable reason and permission.

VI. RED FLAGS

---------------------------

A red flag can occur due to

A) Half of the field involved in one wreck

B) Bad server lag


Heres how it works:

1. The track will go on a yellow flag and the pace car will come out

2. When the field is grouped, the red flag will come out

3. The pace car will slowly stop in a section of the track

4. The admins will decide either the race continues or stops
