In late’70s and early’80s Power generation and supply, particularly in West Bengal,
was passing through a severe critical situation. Very frequently there was a power
cuts & shortage of power supply. Industrial sectors were passing through an acute
production loss. Unrest ness among the workmen
started surfacing out. Pay cut is imposed.
Domestic and office fronts suffered badly due to
frequent & prolonged power cuts. There was a
chaotic condition in all works of life. Business
suffered. It is realized; frequent power cuts are the
prime reason for all these.

We anticipated proper & consistence Quality of Overhauling & Maintenance

work of Boilers in the Thermal Power plants are not carried out. Quality repair,
overhauling & maintenance were need of the hour.

With our knowledge, experience and expertise which we acquired while

executing overhauling, maintenance etc. work on behalf of M/s R.D.Steam
Engineering Co. (Pvt.) Ltd., we emerged out in 1982 as a direct executor to the
damage control in the Small, Medium & High generation capacity Power Plants.

We are glad to mention here that Boiler Directorate of West Bengal, vide its
office order no. L/1056 dated the 20th. March 1994, Registered our name for Repair,
Overhauling & Maintenance of Power Plant Boilers of any capacity.

readily available with us.

Both the categories of welders are engaged throughout the year and carry out high pressure
welding jobs in tubes/vales/pipes in various power stations maintaining IB Regulations.
Semi-skilled and unskilled workmen are generally engaged from local areas.
