 Career Objective: To pursue my career in Electronic media field as a News Presenter

/News anchor, in reputed electronic media house. To utilize my experience and skills in
Electronic Media as a Journalist and thereby hone my skills as well as contribute positively to the
organization.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

 Assistant Producer (News) in Zee Telugu Channel, (Zee Tele Films Limited) from
August 2004 to June 2008. Coordinated Special Correspondent program, handled regular news
bulletins.

 News Correspondent in MAA TV from July 2003 to August 2004. Done Investigative
stories and sting operations and explored the irregularities in Medical Colleges in the state of
A.P.

 New reporter correspondent in Teja TV (Sun TV Network) from November 2000 to July
2003.
Response for gathering regular news and in charge of education and employment issues.

 Sub-Editor in ‘Udyoga Sopanam’, a leading youth and employment Telugu fortnightly

from Hyderabad. 1998-2000.

 Freelance announcer in All India Radio (AIR), Kothagudem for YUVA VANI, a youth
related program, 1996-98. Preparing of speeches, news reports on specific topics and contributed
contents for Youth and Cultural based programs.

 Ph.D in Journalism from department of communication and journalism (pursing).
 Masters Diploma in Government (MDG) from MIT School of Government, Pune, August
2006 to August 2007.
 It is a joint training programme of UNESCO and MIT School of Government. I am from
the first batch of the first leadership course in Asia.
 M. Phil in Journalism from Department of communication and journalism , Osmania

 Topped several state level essay writing competitions, and university level elocution and
debate competitions.

INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL STUDY TOURS:

 As a student of MIT School of Government, I visited United Kingdom (UK), France,

Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Germany as a part of international study tour.
 Visited numerous NGO’s, and governmental organizations including Parliamentary
Institutions as a part of study tours.
