(“ABT”) announces the in-license of a patented product under the CapriClear registe
red trade name from Skin Evolution, LLC.
Suwanee, GA, April 19, 2011 -- SOS Brands, Inc. (“SOS”) a fully-owned subsidiary of
Advanced Bio-Technologies, Inc. (“ABT”) announces the in-license of a patented produ
ct under the CapriClear registered trade name from Skin Evolution, LLC. SOS Bran
ds has been granted the worldwide exclusive rights to manufacture and commercial
ize CapriClear under a 10 year renewable license. CapriClear is owned by Dr. Bet
ty Bellman, a practicing dermatologist and an Associate Voluntary Professor of D
ermatology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She is also an
attending on active staff at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
CapriClear is a spray made from FCO (Fractionated Coconut Oil), which has been p
atented by Skin Evolution. FCO is a highly stable, colorless, odorless, hypoalle
rgenic and organic emollient that has anti-bacterial effects. It is therapeutic
in patients with itchy, sensitive skin, as it repairs the skin barrier, alleviat
es flaking, calms redness, and softens dry skin. It does not burn or sting upon
application, making it ideal for treating children, particularly those suffering
from atopic dermatitis.
