PART A

• The Verbal Ability Test measures an individual's ability to comprehend and use words/vocabulary approp-
riately and correctly.
• The Analytical Ability Test measures an individual's ability to comprehend and interpret a system of relations
(data) and/to arrive at certain conclusions.
• The Attention to Detail Test measures an individual's ability to accurately identify and isolate similar/minute details,
work on repetitive, mundane tasks without making errors and follow certain rules consistently while working with data.
• The Programming Fundamentals Test measures an individual’s ability to understand/interpret logic in topics such
as Algorithms, Flowcharts, SDLC.
• The Learning Ability Test measures an individual’s ability to read, understand and apply technology in a software
development context.
• The Written English Test evaluates an individual's skill in writing, based on the following four
parameters - Grammar, Vocabulary, Content, Spelling and Punctuation.

• The IT Concepts Test measures an individual's knowledge in/of Database (RDBMS), Operating Systems, Networking,
Data Structures and SDLC.
• The Electrical Engineering Test measures an individual's knowledge in/of DC Machines, Electrical Fundamentals, Electrical
Measurements, Control Systems and Circuit Analysis.
• The Electronics Engineering Test measures an individual's knowledge in/of Electronic Circuits, Digital
Electronics, Communication Fundamentals, Microprocessors, Instrumentation, Rectification, DSP, Control Systems, Analog
Electronics and Solid State Electronics
• The Mechanical Engineering Test measures an individual's knowledge in/of Elements of Mechanical Engineering,
Material Science and Metallurgy, Fluid Mechanics, SOM, DOM, Tool Design, Production Technology,
Thermodynamics, AC & Refrigeration and Engineering Drawing

and Bio-reaction Engineering
• The Telecommunication Engineering Test measures an individual's knowledge in/of Electronics, Logic Circuits,
Microprocessors, Electromagnetism, Satellite Communication, Signals and Systems, Measurements, Electrical
System Design, Electronic Design, Analog Communication, Optical Communication, Antennas, Data Communication
Networks, Wireless Networking, Wave-Shaping Techniques, Principles of Communication Engineering, Electrical
Networks, Principles of Control Systems, Electronics Instrumentation and Elements of Micro-electronics.

Important

• "NA" is awarded due to either of three possible reasons – (i) the test taker did not attempt that section of the test at all
(ii) there was considerable difficulty in discerning the test taker's response (iii) the response was insufficient to be
given a score.
• Each of the endorsing company will exercise their own short-list criteria.
• The NAC-Tech score in combination with a consistent aggregate of 60 % or above in graduation would be preferred
by the industry.
• You may use this score card for applying to companies recruiting through NAC-Tech. However a NAC-Tech score
does not guarantee employment
