This letter is in response to your letter dated February 7, 201 1, requesting inform ation pursuant
to the Freedom of Information Act (FO IA), 5 U.S.C . § 552. Your request was received in this
office on February 14, 201 1. You requested any and all records from June 1,2010 to the present
of any contracts between Education and former Education Deputy Undersecretary Robert
Shireman.

1. Personal Information is withhel d under (b)(6) of the FOLA, 5 U. S.C. § 552(b)(6 ) and
Departmenta l Regu lation 34 CFR § 5.7I (a). Disclosu re of this information would constitute a
clearly unwarranted invas ion of personal privacy.
