welded compressed air filters - 16 bar

BF Welded compressed air filters are used for compressed air

filtration in large capacity compressed air systems. Ten different
sizes covers a wide flow range.

BF Filters are made of quality steel in accordance with Pressure

Equipment Directive PED 97/23/CE. Number of filter cartridges
depends of filter size.

There are 6 filtration stages available. Differential pressure

indicators and Condensate drains can be optionally mounted on
all types of BF filters. Filters are protected against corrosion by RAL
colour painting. On customer’s request, we can offer epoxy painting
or hot-dipped galvanizing.

DF filter cartridges
Omega Air filter cartridge production includes 6 filtration stages (B,
P, R, M, S and A), which are designed to remove particulates, water,
oil vapours, taste and odours from compressed air. Two stage filter
elements are developed: A2 for high efficient removal of oil vapours
and odours and H2 for high efficint removal of carbon monoxide from
compressed air.

The design of filter media ensures the effective and efficient removal
most of contaminates in compressed air systems. Note that these filters
will not remove carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide.

Materials are corrosion-proof and suitable for most of applications.

The filter and cartridge size is determined by the compressed air flow.
They are all designed for operation pressure up to 16 bar (232 psi).

aluminium condensate separators - 16 bar

Efficient removal of condensate from a compressed air system has

several advantages: extended life of compressed air tools, improved
lubrication of all pneumatic components, improved painting
processes, reduced corrosion, and elimination of freezing.

These advantages can all be achieved with the installation of Omega

Air CKL-B Cyclone separators. This high-efficiency separators will
remove condensed water droplets, with a very low pressure drop.
They also provide added protection and improved performance for
dryers and filters.

Typically, water separators are installed downstream of after coolers,

air receivers, refrigerant dryers and strategic points in pipe work
installation.

Standard equipment includes automatic condensate drain AOK 16B.

Benefits
Construction of aluminium cyclone separators assures high efficiency condensate separation with low pressure drop.

Cartridge inside Cyclone separator assures reliable operation for the life of the separator, with no possibility of clogging and
increased operating costs.

Condensate Cyclone separator CKL-B satisfies all needs of applications in a wide temperature range from 1,5 to 65 °C (35 to
149 °F) and in a pressure range up to 16 bar (232 psi).

All alluminium separator bodies are coated with powder paint to eliminate corrosion.

Threaded connections are BSP according to ISO7/1 or NPT to ANSI B2.1, if supplied in North America.

electronic condensate drains - 16 bar

Electronic condensate drains - ECD-B series, is used for the

automatic discharge of accumulated condensate from
compressed air systems. The basic principle is contactless
measurement of the acumulated condensate which is then
discharged without the loss of valuable compressed air.

Condensate flow constantly flushes debris out of the valve.

Thats why uninterrupted operating is guaranteed.

Incorrect plunger position is first sign of debris blocking

the valve. By detecting incorrect position, blocked plunger
release procedure is started.
This procedure assures safety and reliable plunger
operating. No staff intervention is needed. This procedure
starts automatilally.

automatic condensate drains - 20 bar

The AOK 20 is used when larger amounts of condensate (up to 300 l/

h) must be automatically discharged from filters, pressure vessels and
cyclone separators. It ensures reliable operation up to 20 barg (290
psig).
When the condensate exceeds the discharge level, the float rises,
opens the discharge aperture and discharges condensate from the
system. We reccomend the installation of the nipple, which improves
the performance of the AOK 20B.

MCD - Manual Condensate Drain

Manual Condensate Drains MCD are used for discharging condensate from filters and other vessels with
1/2’’ drain connections. In order to prevent condensate from becoming re-entrained in the airstream we
reccomend controlling the condensate level in filter bowl, which requires an automatic drain trap. For
improved, automatic discharge we recommend the use of other Omega Air products.

Technical data
- material: brass
- operating temperature range: 1,5 to 65 °C (35 to 149 °F)
- operating pressure range: 0-16 bar (0-232 psi)
- connection: R 1/2’’
- oil resistant o-ring

AOK 16B - Automatic Condensate Drain

AOK 16B is primarly used in filters. Its task is the automatic discharge of condensate and oil. When the
accumulated condensate exceeds to discharge level, the float rises, opens the outlet aperture, and
discharges condensate from the system.
A manual emergency drain allows the operator to manually drain the filter, and confirm the automatic
operation.

Technical data
- material: durable plastic, brass
- operating temperature range: 1,5 to 65 °C (35 to 149 °F)
- operating pressure range: 0-16 bar (0-232 psi)
- connection: R 1/2’’

vacuum pump protection filters

P-VAC filters have been specifically developed for protection of vacuum pumps.
These filters are optimised for high-efficient removal of solid particles and other
contamination from the suction side of vacuum pumps preventing damage to the
pump.

For P-VAC filter series two filtration stages are available.

Rough prefilter “VACP”removes bulk liquid and large solid particles while high
efficiency microfilter VACM removes very fine impurities which may damage the
pump.

vacuum applications

medical vacuum filters

M-VAC filters are designed for medical vacuum applications. These filters are
optimised for high-efficient removal of bacterial and other contamination (solids
and liquids) from the suction side of vacuum pumps preventing damage to the
pump and the potential biological infection of the surrounding environment.

Removed liquids are collected in a transparent flask which can be removed for
sterilisation.

The efficiency of the installed filter elements exceeds the 0,005% penetration
specified in HTM 2022 for infections disease units, when tested in accordance with
BS 3928.
